Oxon is a large primary school with approximately 420 children on roll. It is situated on the western side of Shrewsbury in an area that has seen a considerable number of new houses built in the last thirty years. Over that time the school has grown from two classes to fourteen classes. For the last fourteen years the school has been close to capacity.

The school underwent an Ofsted inspection in June 2023 and was judged to 'continue to be an outstanding school' this followed the 'outstanding' judgement in May 2016. Lunchtime Supervisor
Grade 1 SCP 3
7.5 hours per week, 43.6 weeks per year
£13.38 per hour
Fixed term contract until 31.8.2027
Required as soon as possible.
This post would involve supervising children during lunchtime. The post would be for 7.5 hours per week. This would involve working each day from 11.45am – 1.15pm. The hours would be paid at Grade 1.
A willingness to undertake a first aid qualification is an important requirement for this post.
