Focus areas: ‘School Locality’, ‘Around our school’ and ‘A seaside locality’.

The children explore the school locality developing the skills and language associated with geographical enquiry. Fieldwork into the local area allows them to express opinions about their locality and make comparisons with the contrasting seaside locality of Barmouth. Fieldwork opportunities to Acton Scott Historic Farm, Attingham Park and Llangollen Steam Railway further develop geographical skills.
