Children in Year R - Year 4 are not permitted to bring mobile phones to school.

Some Year 5 and 6 children, after completing the official online school form, have parent/carer permission to travel to school alone.  In these circumstances, some parents/carers may wish their child to carry a mobile phone.  We feel this is a reasonable request and permit this. For these children:

• Mobile phones should be handed to the teacher at the start of the day and will be returned at home time.
• The school accepts no responsibility for phones that may be damaged or stolen as part of this process.  It is strongly suggested that ‘cheap’ mobile phones are used for this purpose.
• Children should wait until they are off the school site before activating their phone.

Children are not permitted to wear smart watches that have the capability to take a photo or send a text/message in school.
