Oxon is a large primary school with approximately 420 children on roll.  It is situated on the western side of Shrewsbury in an area that has seen a considerable number of new houses built in the last thirty years.  Over that time the school has grown from two classes to fourteen classes.  For the last thirteen years the school has been close to capacity.

Our school is a lively and successful organisation, full details about the school can be found within our website.  The school underwent an Ofsted inspection in May 2016 and was judged to be ‘outstanding’ in all areas.  Listed below are some quotations from the report.  A link to the full report can be found on the school website.
