Focus areas: ‘Once upon a puppet’ (textiles unit), Dips and dippers (food unit) and ‘Follow me’ (mechanisms unit).

The children develop their designing, making and evaluating skills through a range of projects. They learn how to assemble components to build a wheeled vehicle and join fabrics to create a hand puppet. They design and create healthy and nutritious dips and dippers, including taste testing during the designing and evaluating process.
