Focus areas: ‘Making Bread’ (food unit), ‘Warning Lights’ (electrical control unit) and ‘Moving Toys’ (mechanical control unit).

The children further develop their designing, making and evaluating skills through three exciting projects. The children design and make their own bread roll as part of food technology.  They design, make and evaluate a warning light system that they control using computer software. During the ‘Moving Toys’ topic they design, make and evaluate a cam mechanism toy.
