Focus areas: ‘Citizenship’ (including finance), ‘Health’, ‘Relationships and Sex Education’, ‘Personal Development’, ‘Drug Education’, ‘Star Project’ and ‘Barnardo’s Star Citizen’.

The children discuss issues that affect themselves as citizens and society as a whole. They learn about balanced diets and how to keep healthy. They realise how their actions affect themselves and others. They explore and appreciate the changes that occur during puberty. They learn about the uses of drugs through a ‘STAR’ project.’
